HEADLINE: Winter Weather Advisory issued November 12 at 12:26PM EST until November 13 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Buffalo
DESCRIPTION: …WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
7 AM EST WEDNESDAY…
* WHAT…Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of
3 to 5 inches in the most persistent lake snows.
* WHERE…Monroe county. The greatest accumulations are expected
close to Lake Ontario and in the eastern suburbs of Rochester.
* WHEN…From 9 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions and reduced
visibility in lake effect snow bands.
INSTRUCTIONS: Lake effect snow will fall in relatively narrow bands. If
traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and
visibilities.
