We would like to say “thank you” to the resident on Daniel Drive that dug out this hydrant before we needed it. This morning we were called to Daniel Drive for a possible fire in a home and we were able to mitigate the problem quickly due to excellent work of this resident.
Critical time is wasted when firefighters arrive on the scene of a fire and have to dig out a fire hydrant that has not been cleared. Those few minutes could turn out to be life saving if a fire breaks out in yours or your neighbors home.
