QUINT 4510- THEN AND NOW!
Quint 4510, then a 75 foot straight stick aerial housed at headquarters from 1990-2011. After 21 years of service, Quint 4510 was decommissioned and sold to a fire company in Girard, Pennsylvania where it is still serving its residents today. Once sold, Quint 4510 was deemed non-essential to the delivery of fire protection services to the community and never replaced.
Ten years later, the needs of the Gates Fire District have changed and Quint 4510 was deemed essential once again, this time with a 100 foot mid-mount aerial platform.
