The Gates Fire District is in the process of reorganizing its current fleet of fire apparatus.
Over the course of the last year the fire department has held numerous meetings to address this project. Public meetings were held last week to explain the need and the process that went into this replacement program.
On Tuesday, October 4, 2011 the public is invited to vote on the proposed bonding of this fire apparatus. Voting will take place at Station #1, 2355 Chili Ave from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
