The Gates Fire District/Gates-Chili Fire Dept. once again hosted the August 2014 Junior Fire Academy. Students from Gates-Chili Middle School, Walt Disney, Neil Armstrong as well as Northstar Christian Academy participated in a 5 day summer academy. They extinguished small fires, were taught CPR, and visited the Airport FD as well as many other activities.
Congratulations to all students who successfully completed this course! Thank you to all the firefighters who assisted with the academy.
