Last year, the Monroe county Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association created “Firefighter/ Fire Educator Joseph Manuse Residential Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Foundation” which provided over 750 alarms with 10 year sealed batteries for local fire departments to complimentary install when they respond to an incident where no protection is currently present.
The foundations continued success for these past and future purchases of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms was made possible through generous charitable donations and community fundraisers from various fire service organizations, community business partners and individual donations.
If you need a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm please contact your local fire department and if you wish to support the foundation with a donation please visit the webpage at www.mcfmia.org and look for the Joseph Manuse Foundation tab.
