Yesterday evening around 8pm, crews were dispatched to 171 Jordan Ave for the furnace smoking. Upon arrival, heavy smoke was seen coming from the structure and command declared a working fire. All occupants safely evacuated the home and the fire was extinguished within minutes. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation with the Monroe County Fire Bureau.
