Fight for Air, Stair Climb

Please join us in congratulating the Gates FD stair climb team which took second place overall in the American Lung Association’s Fight for Air Climb this past Saturday. The team included volunteer and career members who climbed the 20 floors of the Legacy Tower on Bausch & Lomb Place downtown in a posted overall time of 00:21:37.869. Probationary FF Matthew Teagarden took 3rd place overall in the individual firefighter standings. Keep in mind that they were wearing full PPE and SCBA while climbing!
