After a week off for Memorial Day, participants of the Citizens Fire academy were back at it!
Our firefighters taught them about how to rescue someone using ropes.
They used a haul system and mechanical advantages to be able to move someone who was injured using ropes. They also had an opportunity to cut open vehicles with the “Jaws of Life!”
