Here are some helpful tips to ensure your carbon monoxide (CO) detector is always in working order, in case of an emergency:
-CO detectors should be replaced about every 7 years or the manufacture recommended replacement date
-If your CO detectors have replaceable batteries, they should be replaced at least once a year
-Test your CO detectors at least once a month
-Make sure to dust off your CO detectors regularly, as buildup could make it malfunction
