The Gates Fire District’s Citizens Fire Academy (CFA) is a free
program designed to inform our citizens about the services provided by their fire department. The CFA is open to individuals, 18 years of age or older, who reside in the Gates Fire District. The CFA gives fire department personnel an opportunity to welcome residents into the firehouse and introduce them to the unique ways we serve our community. Through a series of lectures, field trips, and physical activities, participants are given an inside look at the life of a Gates Firefighter.
