Congratulations to Liam, from Florence Brasser, on being first place in his schools Fire Escape Plan Contest. Liam’s great work won him a fire truck ride to school and party for his class. Keep up the great work!

The ride to school program at Florence Brasser is facilitated through the Gates Fire District Community Risk Reduction Program’s fire safety educational outreach initiative with the Gates Chili Central Schools. We cooperatively partner with the Chili Fire Department (whose jurisdiction the school lies within) to ensure the Florence Brasser students receive the level of fire safety education our schools have come to expect from their community fire department. Thank you to the Chili FD for transporting today’s winning student to school.
