Frank Chennell - We Remember You

The Gates Fire District Exempts dedicated the 2008 Exempts Steak Roast as a special recognition to the family of Frank Chennells.

Frank Chennells was a charter member of the Gates Exempts with over 75 years of membership! Sadly, Frank passed away in October of 2007. The family established the "Frank and Eileen Chennells Fire Victim Relief Fund" to be administered by the Gates Fire District Exempts.  This generous devotion to our community by Frank and Eileen shall continue in their memory by the creation of this victim relief fund to assist the fire victims, and familys that live in the Gates-Chili area. The Gates Fire District exempts will donate to each family burned out of their home, and can not move back in -- a $100 Wegmans Gift Card. The victims must reside within the Gates Fire District.

The Gates District Exempts would like to thank Chennells family, especially Kathleen Dietz, who has donated $5,000 to this cause. We appreicate her thoughtfulness for the people in the Gates Fire District and the members of the Exempts.

Our beloved member, Frank is fondly remembered for his generous dedication to our community. We feel privledged to have called him our brother.
